I stumbled upon the Olympic Sculpture Park by chance while wandering around downtown Seattle, starting from the Space Needle. I had some free time before my dinner reservation, and since the restaurant wasn't too far, I thought I’d take the opportunity to explore more of Seattle and get a feel for the city streets. I should mention that some areas aren’t suitable for walking alone, especially depending on the time of day. It’s not advisable to walk around at night as there’s a certain level of risk.
As I wandered aimlessly, I came across the Olympic Sculpture Park and the railway tracks in front of it. In fact, the railway was what intrigued me the most. Rail travel isn’t a common option in modern North America, primarily being used for freight. However, some routes offer beautiful scenery, and the trains themselves are quite appealing. At that moment, I was somewhat tempted to try taking a train ride in the U.S.
