When you have some extra time before heading to the airport to see someone off, you might not want to arrive too early and wait around, nor do you want to eat at the airport. Although there are quite a few chain stores at the airport now, the options are still limited, and some are quite pricey. In this case, having brunch in Taoyuan City and then driving 20-30 minutes to the airport isn’t a bad idea. Of course, this doesn’t only apply to occasional trips to the airport; you can enjoy brunch on weekends and relax as well. (This is just a simple brunch plan before sending a family member off on their flight. Not everyone gets this kind of treatment!)
SOL WOW Brunch is located in an alley, surrounded by community buildings. The most inconvenient part about this location is the parking situation. The alleyways are narrow and lack street parking spaces, so you have to find a parking lot. There is a paid parking lot about a 5-minute walk away. Despite being situated in such a location, the business is still thriving, which must be due to its unique appeal! Since the nearby residents likely don’t come too often, and the prices are relatively high, most people probably think of it as an occasional treat.

The soup was quite rich and flavorful, but the portion was too small. My mom thought it was a bit stingy.
On that day, I saw quite a few people coming for brunch dates and taking photos, with customers of all ages. The reservations were almost fully booked, so it's best to make a reservation before going. But is the food any good? The savory pies are well-made, with a wide variety of flavors. The crepes are crispy and fragrant, best enjoyed while hot. As for whether it's worth it, that really depends on individual preferences. The portions are relatively small, and one serving might not be enough for a man, which is why I ended up ordering a crepe as well. The prices are on the high side, so it might not be worth a special trip from out of town.
Trying it once is fine, but whether there will be a return visit really depends on the person. So far, more than half of my family members don’t want to go back. They believe there are better options available for the same price!
