A chain fried chicken joint that also sells rice toppings, quite an unexpected discovery. I always thought of it as just a fried chicken place, unaware of the hidden surprises within. Perhaps it's not that dramatic; I simply hadn't tried or explored beyond assuming based on its name, leading to misconceptions!

While browsing Uber Eats one day, I stumbled upon its menu and got curious about the rice toppings. Plus, since there aren't many Fried Chicken Big Lion outlets nearby, I hadn't had the chance to visit in person, so I decided to order through delivery. Nowadays, I rarely opt for just fried items, making the rice toppings more appealing.

The portion size of the fried chicken is acceptable for its price. The lunchbox it comes in is quite shallow, so there isn't an excessive amount of rice at the bottom. The accompanying side dishes are straightforward. I'm not sure if the sides vary daily or differ between stores. It might also depend on seasonal vegetable prices. The toppings don't entirely cover the dish, leaving quite a bit of space where you can see the white rice.

The seasoning primarily lies on the fried chicken; the side dishes are quite mild. However, the flavor and tenderness of the fried chicken are pretty good, making it a suitable match with the white rice. There's no sense of discordance, but one serving might not be enough for a guy. Instead, finishing it might leave you feeling a bit empty afterward.
