The Zhengmai German Beer-themed restaurant might sound like a Western eatery by its name, but it actually serves Taiwanese-style stir-fry dishes. It's more of a fusion restaurant, combining the ambiance of a sports bar. You can even catch live broadcasts of games while enjoying your meal and drinks. It's conveniently located just across the street from the home stadium of the CTBC Brothers, a team in the Chinese Professional Baseball League. There's also a shopping center and the Airport MRT A19 station nearby. Business should pick up, especially on weekends! Since I don't live in Taoyuan, I'm not very familiar with the area, so I rely on local relatives to take me there for a meal.
It seems like there would be two different vibes between afternoon and evening. Does anyone know? Evenings should be much livelier since there are fewer people drinking during lunchtime. It's a shame I didn't get the chance to try their craft beer; I heard it's a dining brand associated with a brewery in Hsinchu.
They have a partnered parking lot nearby, but the space is limited. If it's full, then it's a matter of finding parking in the vicinity!

Given it's a German beer-themed restaurant, I bet they don't skimp on beer, German pork knuckles, and sausages. You can try their dark malt beverage; it's quite enjoyable and has that dark beer taste without the alcohol.
Both the fried noodles and fried rice are too good to pass on! It's a bit of a shame to skip either one because they both taste great!
The German sausage platter is a recommendation, probably because I particularly enjoy it!

If you're in the area and unsure of what to eat, it might be a good choice. Just be prepared price-wise; it's not comparable to a regular stir-fry joint. You have to consider the restaurant's price range!
