Broadway is an important north-south road in New York City, USA. The most famous here is the countless theaters. While the Broadway Theater itself is the collective name for the area and its 41 theaters, and is closely connected to New York's Times Square, only four theaters are actually located on Broadway Avenue.
The Broadway Theatre (53rd Street), the Palace Theatre (New York City), the Minskoff Theatre and the Winter Garden Theatre, the rest are located at West 41st Street from the Nederlander Theatre to one block south of Times Square, the area extending north on Broadway to 53rd Street, and West 65th Street at Lincoln the Vivian Beaumont Theater in the center. The term "Broadway theater" is usually only applied to theaters with more than 500 seats, regardless of the theater location, theaters between 100 and 499 seats are called "off-Broadway", and theaters with less than 100 seats are called "off-Broadway". It's called "Broadway Outside."
Almost every famous musical you've ever heard is staged here. The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Mamma Mia, The Lion King, Aladdin, Chicago, Moulin Rouge, and more. When these musicals are performed in Taiwan, they can cause quite a stir. And the most original version is at the Broadway Theater, walk along Broadway Avenue and pay attention to the streets on both sides. Be sure to watch a musical here. If there is not enough time, choose the one you are most interested in. Guaranteed not to regret, that actual experience is very different. It's well worth it to set aside a special time for a musical.
